(like me)
A
great idea for an adults or kids party is a Fear Factor party.
Use yucky food, smelly stuff, get things out of the toilet bowl,
do dares etc. Take it easy on the kids simple stuff like eating
broccali is enough to put them off.
For adults the
worlds your oyster you can think of lots of foul stuff!

PARTY
GAMES IDEAS
1.
STATIONS:
Everyone stands in a circle, except one - who stands in the middle of
the circle (This child is The Station Master). Each child has to
remember a different station name. The child in the middle (has a list
of all the stations) and calls out two station names. The stations have
to change places quickly, before the Station Master in the middle gets
to one of the empty spaces. The child who is left without a place is the
Station Master in the middle for the next game.
2.
CHINESE WHISPERS:
Sit everyone in
a circle. Whisper a phrase to a child. They, in turn, whisper what they
heard to the next person, and so on. The last person announces what they
heard.
3.
MUSICAL STATUES: This
is like Musical Chairs, but when the music stops, the players have to
keep still. Anyone who moves is out. The winner is the last one still
playing. You can use cut out shapes and remove one each time (this is
a great idea for themed parties).
4.
PORT AND STARBOARD:
An action game.
Port = Run to one side of the room. Starboard
= Run to the other side. Captains Coming = Stand to attention
and Salute.Submarines = Lie on the floor. Climb the
rigging= Run on the spot. Mess Deck= Sit
cross legged on the floor. After a couple of pratices you can start to
take out the slowest until one child is left.
5.
MUMMY:
In teams of two or three, give each team a toilet roll. Two persons then
wrap the third in the toilet roll so that they look like an Egyptian Mummy.
The winning team is the one who has the best looking mummy. Set a time
limit for this (depending on the age of children playing).
6.
BALLOON RACE: Two
teams stand in a line, one behind the other, give each team a balloon
which the first person should pass through legs to the next person and
so on. When the ballooon gets to the last person, they run to the front
of the line and start again. The winnnig team is the first one to get
their starting person to the front again.
7.
THE KEY THIEF:
All the children
(except one who sits in the middle) sit cross legged on the floor in a
circle. The child in the middle is blindfolded, with a bunch of keys on
the floor in front of him. Another child is nominated to be the key thief
and creeps up and takes the keys and then returns to their place, (they
can walk a circle around the child in the middle if they wish) without
the pirate hearing them or seeing the hidden keys. The child in the middle
has 2 turns to point to where he thinks the thief is. If he is sucessful,
the key thief must then sit in the middle.
8.
STUCK IN THE MUD:
One child is 'it'
and has to run around and tag as many others as they can. When any child
is touched they have to stop and stand still with their legs apart, until
someone crawls through their legs (this means they are now free). If a
child has been tagged three times, then they are out. The game ends when
everyone left is standing still, legs apart and there is noone left to
tag.
